Shipping FAQ's


Is Shipping included? Shipping varies by location and will be added to the price of the vault door. Standard shipping is curbside service. Please contact us regarding shipping questions.


If my shipment is damaged what do I do?


All our freight providers are under contact to inspect items damage at the time of delivery and before you sign. The driver cannot leave until the vault door has been signed over to you. If the vault door has been damaged during shipmen you can note the specific damages on the delivery slip that you sign, then please contact us to discuss your options. Depending on the level of damage you will have options to replace parts, or have touch up paint sent immediately, and talk to the shipping company about compensation.


Most vault door like vault doors and security doors should be shipped and placed upright. If the door is laying down please inspect it before the driver leaves.


If the damage is extensive and compensation is not acceptable to you please refuse the vault door and contact us. We will coordinate to have the item shipped back and we will ship you a new one.


Can you ship my order to another country, or can I order from another country?



We do not ship out of the continental United States of America due to high export and freight costs unless we are the only option you wish to purchase vault door from.



How much time will it take to receive my vault door?

It all depends which brand, what type of vault door and whether or not you order something custom. Some vault door can arrive in 2 weeks and some custom orders up to 3 months. Please use our website and choose your ideal vault door and options, as you pick and choose and determine what it is you need and when we provide you a quote, we can then determine a shipping date.


When can I begin to track my order?

As soon as we know your order is ready for shipping we can notify you either by e-mail or you can track your order through the automated system.


How will I know when my vault door is delivered?

On the tracking website you will see your reference shipping number which will correspond with the terminal. Once it arrives at the distribution terminal for your region, the freight company’s dispatch will call you to schedule a delivery date. This usually consists of a 4 hour delivery window, Monday - Friday during business hours, notwithstanding any unforeseen circumstances. An appointment is set in order for you to be there to inspect and sign for the item. These items do not require a signature at the time of delivery. The tracking number would be the best way to estimate a delivery date or a call can be made to the carrier to confirm the delivery.


What is a curbside delivery with lift-gate? 

Curbside delivery is when the truck pulls alongside or up to your driveway, dock, or designated location in which the truck driver can easily pull into, or back up to, and at ground level they can unload your vault door. You will want to coordinate labor, forklift, or a crane, so that you may take delivery of your vault door from the box trailer or the flatbed trailer. The freight company will call you in advance to schedule a delivery. Please contact us if you have special circumstances like if you live or work in a rural area, or your area is not serviced by freight companies, or you live on an island.


Other special circumstances relating to delivery are very narrow driveways, roads, or steep inclines both up and down. We need to know these beforehand to make sure the right trucks are chosen for such a delivery.


Can my order be expedited?

Yes! For an additional amount we can speed up your order or we will perform the necessary work to get your vault door done fast. However each order is different and we need to coordinate with our manufacturers to determine how quickly or how best to achieve this.


Also most of our vault door is heavy; we offer the option to upgrade to a white-glove in-home delivery service. This services will ensure you have the option for in-home placement and guarantee your new vault door will be carefully and discreetly placed in the location you want. Prices for white-glove in-home delivery services will vary and depending on the complexity of your residence or building.


Installation? 

We can coordinate with our network of local and professional vault door installers to contact you for the best possible way to install your door.


NOTICE:


Please take precise measurements of your framework and if possible provide us with drawings when necessary. Also it is always a good idea to clear things out beforehand so that a quick and easy delivery and installation can be achieved and thus save you money on labor costs. Choose a backup location to place your vault door just in case the vault door does not fit for some one or another.

How do I place my order?

When is my order processed?

It depends on whether you order online or over the phone. For online orders our shopping cart system is user friendly. You can choose the dimensions, specifications and options from the drop down menu and add them into your “cart”. If everything meets your criteria you can place your payment information and immediately begin your order. We will follow up by the next business day to verify your order and begin to process it.


For over the phone orders or custom builds you can talk to us about your specific needs, and we’ll guide you through the different brands and options so that you are happy satisfied with your order.


Is my payment secure? 

Your payment information is not kept on file. As soon as you place your order through our check out, your payment information is not made available for viewing. However the system will allow for us to return your order if you would like to cancel. For over the phone orders, we have a strict policy of not writing down personal and financial information which belongs to a client.



If I need to cancel my order what do I do? 

We understand that sometimes an order has to be canceled. If you need to cancel all you need to do is contact us as soon as possible. As long as the item is not shipped and it is not a custom built safe we can easily cancel your order. We will credit your account or credit card for the amount of your purchase. Please have your information handy to verify your order. Custom built orders cannot be canceled after they have been ordered and put into production. All we can do is stop production if we have to.
